Mahenge is a Senior Lecturer at the department of Informatics and Information
Technology (DIIT), College of Natural and Applied Sciences (CoNAS), Sokoine
University of Agriculture (SUA). He holds PhD in computer Science and
Technology from Wuhan University of Technology, Republic of China, Master’s
degree in Information and Communication Science and Engineering from Nelson
Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) Tanzania, and
Bachelors’ degree (BSc. informatics) from Sokoine University of Agriculture
(SUA), Tanzania. He has collaborated in more than eight (8) research projects
where two (2) projects as principal Investigator and co-authored more than 30
publications. His research interest is in Mobile Edge Computing (Resource
Optimization), Mobile Cloud Computing, ICT4D and Application of Artificial
Intelligence (AI) in Agriculture.
